Apres Velo cranked out in 2006 to fill a gaping void within the cycling industry's casual clothing offering.

Incredibly, the grand and noble sport of cycling seemed to have no "after cycle" wear with street cred. Thus began Apres Velo, which is French for "After Cycle".

With no finish line in sight, our aim is to develop ongoing ranges of urban, casual clothing and lifestyle accessories to meet the cultural and diverse tastes of the global cycling community. Hopefully, much loved for our humour, graphics and niche street appeal.

Chernobyl Children's Life Line is a National charity of which we are a link, we bring children from Belarus on 28 day respite care each year.  So far the link has had nearly 200 visits to Mid Suffolk, these children come from a highly contaminated area in Belarus called Cherikov. Many children suffer from thyroid cancers, stomach cancers, brain tumors and many other types of cancer as a result of their land and water being contaminated by the Chernoby disaster.  Each link is totally self funding and all monies raised goes towards the children.

Team DHL 2012 will be made up of riders from the Food retail and Consumer division all based in the UK. The Charity we are riding for is selected annually and falls under the DHL 'life cycle' banner. This year's charity will be announced in January however last year the DHL team of 5 riders raised over £8000 - which ended up going directly to 'Shuktara' an Indian orphanage and we will be looking to raise a similar figure in 2011.

Lumo Hawk are a very small South African charity that supports mainly HIV orphans educational needs. We pay school fees for a number of children in order to ensure an education and to foster hope for these young angels, most of whom are HIV positive but on anti-retrovirals. We sponsor the odd tertiary education program too – we have a young cancer survivor from a township who is 22 years old and is now going to marketing school. We also at present are sponsoring a teachers course for a number of care givers in order for them to assist with informal teachings in their respective orphanages. As you can see, it is very much focused on the youth and their education. We have no administration expenses so every cent goes to the cause and we don’t donate cash – we pay bills as cash goes missing.

St Peregrine VC is made up of 6 like minded cyclists who's focus is not only to ride bikes but to also raise money for Cancer Research.  Most of the team have had personal experiences with family members being touched by cancer so we thought it was fitting to call our club St Peregrine: (Pellegrino) Laziosi (Latiosi) (1260 - 1st May 1345) is the Italian saint of the Servite order (Friar Order Servants of Mary). He is the Patron saint for persons suffering from Cancer according to the Catholic Church.  VC is French or Velo Club translation: Bicycle Club.

Our fund raising for Cancer Research will be through various events through out the year, with The London-Paris being one of them.
