The London-Paris Cycle Tour Spring Rides give a great opportunity for like minded riders to get together and ride towards a common goal - getting ready for the event in June. The January ride on the 25th was wet and windy, but that didn't stop around 40 L2P-goers from arriving in Esher at 8.30am. Rolling up to the meeting point was no other than former professional and CSC sports director, Scott Sunderland, and ex-professional footballer and cycling fundraiser, Geoff Thomas.
The riders were split into two groups with ride captains making sure everybody had a good training session, the two groups completed a shorter loop than planned, but still got a good two hours riding in. It's fair to say that most were pleased to get into the cafe for coffee and cake.
London-Paris Cycle Tour Spring Rides are held on the last Sunday of every month. We'd love to see you on the next one.
