For a relatively small sport, there are many different types of cyclist. Different abilities, different interests, different distances, different bikes and different disciplines all make the sport so unique. BikeRadar Live is aiming to cater for them all, and HotChillee will be catering for those looking for a road racing challenge at Donington Park on May 30th-31st.

For those looking to ditch their lycra for the weekend and take a wander around the venue, there's plenty to keep you occupied. Test rides and stands from all the leading manufacturers will keep even the most discerning of cycling fans entertained. There's also the opportunity to watch the mountain bike enduro and the Devil Takes the Hindmost circuit race.

HotChillee are organising the 'Devil', which uses an old track racing format and transforms it onto a road circuit. Riders will get chance to negotiate the famous bends of Donington Park, as they ride next to former professionals, celebrities, some of the top UK riders and anybody else wanting to give it a go in the handicapped format.

Riders will set off as part of a staggered start, based on race category and ability. Riders setting off first will need to work hard to keep the faster riders at bay, pace will be high towards the start, even though elimination doesn't begin until an hour into the race. After an hour of racing, the last group of riders in the race will be eliminated every lap, meaning that succesful riders will have to endeavour to keep at the front of the race for its duration. Those left towards the end will need to ensure they've got enough left in the tank for the final, decisive sprint.

With high-profile individuals linked to HotChillee events expected to take part, the 'Devil' could well be the highest profile event within the BikeRadar portfolio. The event will give the same professional feel in organisation that's come to be expected of HotChillee through events like the London-Paris Cycle Tour.

By entering the Devil Takes the Hindmost, you'll receive listing on the Cyclingnews results service, as well as access to the competitor camping area. Winners will receive a share of a £2,000 prize list. Entries are £35 per person, which includes a weekend ticket for the BikeRadar Live event.
