HotChillee today announces that both Chain Reaction Cycles and Vitus Bikes have signed a three-year partnership to support HotChillee's multi-stage events: the flagship London-Paris and The Alpine Challenge.
The Chain Reaction Cycles' deal comes after a successful partnership during the 2011 Alpine Challenge. The company, with its world renowned reputation for quality and service, is still growing rapidly and aims to increase brand exposure through strategic partnerships with other market leaders. Chain Reaction Cycles saw the media exposure gained via Eurosport as incredibly important to the brand. It also gave them the opportunity to engage with new and existing customers, face-to-face in a fantastic setting.
Vitus Bikes was re-launched at the beginning of 2011 and received high praise from the press and great test results, along with very satisfied customers. Vitus Bikes aims to become one of the top brands in both road and mountain bikes in the coming years. The partnership provides the opportunity to showcase the brand, engaging with cyclists at all levels.
HotChillee Ride Captains will be riding Vitus bikes
Chain Reaction Cycles will be providing a pre-event service, including exclusive retail promotions on many of its top branded cycling products throughout the year. Riders of both events will receive such deals, along with welcome packs. It will be a one shop stop for all the riders' needs. They will have a dedicated email contact and order-line in the lead up to both events for any last minute requirements.
Vitus Bikes will be sponsoring all twenty HotChillee Ride Captains at each event and will provide them with a top of the range Sean Kelly Limited Edition carbon race bike. The bike uses a high modulus monocoque carbon frame with full carbon fork, Shimano Dura Ace group set, a finishing kit from 3T and Mavic SLR wheels.
Vitus Bikes have a long heritage in road cycling with numerous Pro Tour stage wins over the years. Riding greats such as Irish road cycling star Sean Kelly claimed stage victories in the Tour de France and most of his Classic race wins riding a Vitus bike.
Chain Reaction Cycles' marketing manager, Damien Duggan said: When the opportunity to sponsor the Alpine Challenge and The London-Paris came along we were very excited. We aim to provide our customers the best experience possible and HotChillee have a heritage second to none in delivering just that with the Tour de France style experience. I personally look forward to getting out on my bike and sharing lots more amazing experiences with the HotChillee family.
