What could be better than some warmer weather training miles – especially when training during the dark, cold wet, winter months at home? Jump start your training for 2008 with as much climbing or flat as you want on the beautiful island of Mallorca.

The 4 star Aparthotel Estrella de Mar is situated along the north coast of Majorca in the popular resort of Puerto de Alcudia, approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport. The hotel is around 200 metres from the wide sandy resort beach, and less than 50 metres from both the harbour and Alcudia resort centre with its selection of shops, bars restaurant and nightlife.
All rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a kitchenette, a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, as well as a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have either pool or garden views. In addition to the above, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.     
Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international dishes and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry service and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a large free form swimming pool with waterfall and Jacuzzi, along with spacious sun terraces and gardens furnished with loungers and parasols.
